It should, and even if there is a bit of misalignment you could easily adjust a spot with a small slit using an exacto knife

The video in the overview shows metal 4 plates placed into the light diffuser. the CTRL V1 came with the light diffuser, but not those plates. Are those Metal plates included with this kit?
